You can now browse the Hanover library without ever leaving your home.
The Library has its own online catalogue.
It allows users to conduct searches, renew books, place holds and even check to see what materials they have out and when they are due back.
Users can also download audio books and e-books through the new online service.
And if that’S not enough — there even a purchase request section in which bookworms can suggest what books they would like the library to purchase.
Chief Librarian Bill VanKeuren calls the new service convenient and user friendly.
He notes with the click a few buttons, patrons are able to be access all of this information from the comfort of their home.
VanKeuren says the online catalogue service is just one of the many ways the Hanover Library continues to evolve to meet patrons growing needs.
To check out the new online catalogue library service simply visit www.hanover.ca and click onto the library section which will provide you with a link to the catalogue.
