It’s time to head to your computer if you want to see the Grotto from Bruce Peninsula nation Park in Tobermory on the cover of the yellow pages.
A graduate of Walkerton District Secondary school snapped a photo a while back of the picturesque tourist spot while on a school trip.
19 year old Luke Albert’s picture is now on the top 12 pictures to be voted on for the cover of the upcoming yellow pages.
Albert’s picture is currently slated in second place with scenes from Trois Rivere Quebec, Toronto and Cambridge as some of the other settings.
Albert says what is interesting about his picture is that it is quite candid and taken on not the best quality camera.
He said he just wanted to take a picture – he never expected it to turn out as well as it did and enter it into a photo contest.
He jokingly adds that is one of the reasons he hopes to win the contest as the top prize is not only the cover bragging rights for the publication but a 4-thousand dollar Canon Camera.
Albert now attends the University of Toronto but his family still resides in Mildmay where he grew up.
Albert says it will just take three minutes of your time to vote for his photo by going to www.bit.ly/voteforluke
Albert says you can only vote once from a computer address.
The contest voting closes on February 28th.
