By the year 2015 – all Pharmacy Technicians have to meet new Ontario College of Pharmacists regulations.
With that in mind, the South Bruce Grey Health Centre is thinking ahead.
SBGHC Vice President of Corporate Development Brenda Rantz says they hope to hold courses to meet those new guidelines in partnership with HealthKick, at Fanshawe College.
Rantz says the course could only be offered through the SBGHC if there is enough interest however.
That’s why there is an information session tonight at the Kincardine Hospital Site, hosted by HealthKick officials.
Those who are about to become pharmacy technicians or who are already – are encouraged to attend.
Details about the new requirements will be discussed, along with the course outline.
Rantz says they’ll be able to see if there is an interest in having the program following tonight’s session at 6:30 PM.
