The new election system in Chatsworth is now officially in place.
No one filed an appeal against Council’s bylaw for a hybrid voting system in October’s election.
Under the system — the Mayor and Deputy Mayor will be elected at large.
Three councillors will also be elected by ward instead of four — so the boundaries will be changed.
Originally Council voted to change to a completely at large system but that was appealed by some local residents.
Council is also still looking at adopting a mail in ballot system for November’s election.
