Saugeen Shores police are hoping for witnesses of a brutal attack to come forward.
It happened Sunday at 2 AM inside the Queen’s Bar and Grill in Port Elgin.
Police say a 24 year old man from Port Elgin had an altercation with a 26 year old from Chesley.
The man from Port Elgin was stuck in the face with a beer bottle and passed out a short time later.
He was treated for his serious injuries which included cuts to his face and ear at Southampton Hospital.
Police want anyone who may know something of interest pertaining to what lead up to the altercation or saw the it — to call them.
At this point – no charges have been laid.
