Police have now laid charges in connection with the missing drugs from the pharmacy at the Kincardine hospital.
South Bruce OPP have charged 47 year old Deanna Lachlan of Kincardine with theft under five thousand dollars.
She will appear in court on February 22nd.
The probe was launched in December after an audit of the pharmacy turned up a discrepancy in the drug supply.
Less than a thousand units of narcotics such as oxycontin and percocets went missing.
The South Bruce Grey Health Centre has since changed its pharmacy policies, changed the locks and the number of keys to the facility.
