The Ontario Men’s Curling Championship continues today at the Strathcona Paper Centre in Napanee.
The Mark Bice rink from the Tara Curling Club starts Day 3 with a record of 1 & 3
Codey Maus, a member of the Tara entry, is optimistic, Tara can rally and secure a top 4 placing and gain a berth in the playoff round.
Maus states tough games on Opening Day, both losses to Joseph Frans and Glenn Howard, put them in a bit of hole.
Last night, the Bice rink defeated Jay Young of Brantford 8-6 for their first victory at the Championship
Maus hopes Tara can use that victory as motivation when they resume play this afternoon.
The Bice rink from Tara meets Peter Corner of Brampton this afternoon at 2 pm
