Delegates at the Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association annual meeting are going to learn about everything from new technologies to how to adapt to changing food trends.
The meeting is taking place today at the Sheraton Fallsview in Niagara Falls.
Executive Director of the Association, Harold Rudy says they have a number of speakers that will be addressing delegates — including Doctor Tom Bruulsema with the Northeast Division of the North American Plant Institute.
Rudy says Doctor Bruulsema will be talking about managing your nutrient dollars.
He says there will also be several speakers from OMAFRA field crop specialists providing update on what is new and evolving from their perspective.
Rudy says Doctor David Foot, professor of Economics from the University of Toronto will be talking about how producers can respond to the changing demographics and food trends in Ontario.
