An Owen Sound man is dead and Barrie man is in a Sudbury hospital as police continue to investigate a crash on Highway 69.
According to the OPP — a pick-up truck and an SUV collided just after 7 AM on Sunday in Servos Township south of Burwash.
43 year old Daniel Shawn Hebert of Owen Sound was the lone occupant of a 1995 Chevrolet Blazer southbound on Highway 69.
The southbound Blazer entered the northbound lane and struck the Ford pick-up truck head-on.
The driver of the pick up — 48 year old Ron Lambert of Barrie — was airlifted to Sudbury hospital with serious injuries.
The roadway was bare and wet.
Road and environmental conditions are not believed to have contributed to the collision.
