Huron Bruce MPP Carol Mitchell will be giving a welcome message at the all day event, happening today at the Holiday Inn in Guelph.
Manager for Food Safety and Traceability with OMAFRA, Holly Sabara says farmers attending the forum will learn the benefits and challenges to traceability.

She says traceability can provide farmers with improved efficiency and accuracy with collecting information, the ability to verify product claims and increase consumer confidence in their products.
It starts at 8 AM and runs for the entire day.
The cost is 100 dollar or 80 dollars if you have a valid premises ID through the Ontario Agri-food Premises Registry.
