Trustees with the Bluewater District School Board are going away together for two days.
A review of Director of Education Mary Anne Alton is on the agenda for their planning retreat — which will take place next Monday and Tuesday.
Chair Jennifer Yenssen says part of the retreat will be a performance appraisal of the Director.
Yenssen says they will get help from a facilitator — who is also helping trustees with a visioning and planning exercise for the next year.
She says a “360” review of the director is being done, involving several telephone interviews.
Yenssen says at the retreat — the facilitator will help encapsulate everything and provide trustees with a report for them to use.
As for the cost of the facilitator, Yenssen says that will not be known until her work on both the director’s review and visioning process are complete.
