Bruce Power workers in Tiverton are doing their part to help victims of earthquake ravaged Haiti.
Tomorrow — a “gate collection” will be taken between 6:30 AM and 8:30 AM.
Employees will be encouraged to donate what they can – and then the company will match whatever is collected.
All funds will then donated to the Red Cross – which is then matched by the Federal Government.
Bruce Power holds “gate collections” on an as needed basis to raise money for worthy cuases.
While often they are for an employee who has suffered a hardship – they are also help to assist community and global causes.
