There are as many as three million Haitians needing help and international aid groups are scrambling to meet the demand.
The earthquake survivors don’t have enough food, water or shelter.
Supply shipments are getting backed up at the airport, causing despair and anger for those in desperate need.
The Red Cross says 50-thousand lives have been lost.
Authorities in Haiti say the number is more like 140-thousand.
Here at home, many people have been making donations to the Red Cross and other organizations.
A few people in our area tell Bayshore Broadcasting News it’s important to help people who have nothing considering most of us here have everything we need, atleast the basics.
Several people tell us they have already donated, while others say they will do it soon because they hate to see people without food and water.
