The Hall of St. Andrew’s United Church in Hepworth is looking forward to a brighter future in 2010.
The church has received a 15 thousand dollar grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation for building repairs.
Bruce Grey Owen Sound MPP Bill Murdoch says the funding will ensure the community hall continues to play an important role as a meeting place.
Hall President Lillian Currie says they will use the money to install a high efficiency furnace and to replace windows of the Hepworth Community Hall.
The Hall — which is about 130 years old — is made available on a seasonal basis for fundraising purposes, family gatherings, receptions, dinners and other functions.
