Farmers will trot to Elmwood today for Horse Day.
It is one of the most popular attractions as part of Grey Bruce Farmer’s Week at the Elmwood Community Centre.
There is an adult program in the morning and a youth program in the afternoon.
The organizing committee is also handing out money.
Two cheques of almost 12 hundred dollars each will go to the Grey Bruce chapter of Autism Ontario and the Partners in Process Equine Learning Centre.
The money was raised from farming events held earlier this year.
Grey Bruce Farmers Week wraps up tomorrow with Crops Day with several presentations dealing with how farmers can get more support from the public.
