Tickets are still on sale for this year’s Lucky Lodge Lottery.
Proceeds from the annual draw go towards providing services at Participation Lodge Grey Bruce — a long term care facility for those with physical and developmental challenges.
Special Events Co-ordinator Karen Kociuk says local business have come through once again to provide a dozen terrific prizes.
Top prize this year is a brand new Coleman trailer with all the amenities including modern appliances, several large beds and an outdoor shower.
Some of the other prizes include furniture, a colour TV and hardware flooring.
Kociuk says last year they raised more than 36 thousand dollars and are hoping to meet that target again this year despite the tougher economic times.
She says the money is used to provide services not only to the residents of Participation Lodge north of Markdale — but also to other community organizations such as Community Living, the Red Cross and the Alzheimer’s Society.
Tickets are on sale now at various locations throughout Grey Bruce with the draw to be made January 11th.
