There’s a new furniture outlet in Hanover.
DJ’s Handcrafted Solid Wood Furniture opened its doors in the fall in a new 8 thousand square foot store located on 10th Street across from McDonalds.
Owner Dave Nichols says all of the furniture is solid wood and Canadian made manufactured at his Wroxeter plant on Highway 86 between Listowel and Wingham.
The Hanover retail store will now serve as the company’s main showroom.
Up until now the business has focused on the wholesale end with only a small retail outlet at the Wroxeter plant.
Nichols says he chose to locate in Hanover because of its regional draw.
Along with the high traffic volume, he says Hanover is also close enough to the Wroxeter plant to make the venture work.
The store features solid wood furniture for every room in the house especially the kitchen, living room and bedroom.
