Canadian Sportscaster Brian Williams will carry the Olympic Torch in Port Elgin as part of the Olympic Torch Run Celebrations.
Williams will be running on Highway 21 from the CAW Road to the Port Elgin Wal-Mart location, with his grandsons, Michael and Jacob Condy.
The two boys are students in Port Elgin.
Williams is a veteran of twelve olympics and will lead a team in covering the Vancouver 2010 Winter Games for seventeen days.
The torch run begins at 5:01 PM Monday with Williams and ends at Tomlinson Drive around 5:34 PM after a total of eleven runners have carried the torch.
Following that – the torch travels to Southampton where it will be carried by three runners starting at Albert and Spence Streets at 5:39 PM.
They will carry it to Clarendon St with a brief stop at the Southampton Art Gallery.
The Olympic torch will leave Southampton at approx 5:48 PM.
Olympic Celebrations begin at the Plex in Port Elgin for all at 5:30 PM with official ceremonies getting underway at 7 PM.
