One person is dead after a head on collision in the Blue Mountains.
The OPP responded to the crash around 6 PM Tuesday on Grey Road 2 north of the 21st sideroad.
Police say a southbound vehicle entered the northbound lanes — and while both drivers tried to avoid a collision — they struck head on.
The driver of the southbound vehicle was pronounced dead at Meaford hospital but no name has been released yet.
Police don’t know if the driver died as a result of the collision, and the investigation continues.
The OPP say the driving conditions at the time of the collision were poor — with snow causing the road, and lane markings to be partially covered.
