It’s Christmas Week, so I thought I’d send an early Christmas present.
Actually this is a commercial, disguised as Christmas wish, but the intent on my part remains the same.
My buddy Gary Byers, who first giggled his way into Bayshore Broadcasting back in 1985, now operates what he calls ” Fishfinder Sound “
What Giggles does better than almost everybody, is generate a quality flow of sound, especially outdoors.
Be it Duncan McLellan Park for the Canadian Junior Fastball Championship Tournament, or the CWOSSA Cross Country Meet at the Links at Pipers Glen in Port Elgin, when Fishfinder Sound is in control, the audio is clear, the quality of sound is top notch and the event proceeds smoothly and effectively with an upbeat atmosphere.
Never, never, never, never, never, underestimate the value of a quality sound system for a major event, indoors or out.
For example, every year I host a major golf tournament, and at one specific juncture each year a significant President & CEO, there’s no need to mention Duncan Hawthorne by name, goes to the podium to make a short speech and present a very big cheque.
Every year I’m embarrassed when this crucial moment gets washed away by a poor in-house audio system, and I know this never happens when Fishfinder Sound is on the job.
So Merry Christmas, Gary Byers at Fishfinder Sound.
Many thanks for making making my events that much better.
See you in 2010.
I’m Fred Wallace
