Two Grey County EMS paramedics have received the Governor General’s Exemplary Service Medal.
Ron Birr and Jim McConachie received the honours for serving for at least 20 years.
The medal recognizes those professionals who have performed their duties with the highest standard of good conduct and efficiency.
The medals were handed out by Major General Richard Rohmer, Canada’s highest decorated soldier.
