Grey County OPP report a dozen goats have been taken from a farm on Highway 6 in Southgate.
Police say 12 dairy goats were discovered missing Wednesday morning from a barn on south of Varney.
It’s believed they were taken sometime between Sunday and Tuesday.
The goats are described as being pure white in colour – all are pregnant.
Police say it would be unusual for the animals to leave the herd and not return.
The loss is large for the owner too – around 48 hundred to six thousand dollars in value.
Anyone with information that might assist is asked to contact Grey County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
