A fatal fire in Lucknow.
South Bruce OPP and the Lucknow Ashfield West Wawanosh Fire department responded to a fire at a home on Stauffer Street around 8:16 AM Thursday.
78 year old Shirley Hunter of Lucknow was rescued from the home but died in Wingham hospital from injuries in the fire.
No word on the cause of the fire.
The OPP Crime and Forensic Identification Units as well as the Ontario Fire Marshall’s office are continuing to investigate.
