Wasaga Beach’s Mayor just got a whole lot busier.
Cal Patterson has been named the 146th Warden of Simcoe County for 2010 — the first time ever someone from Wasaga has become Warden.
Patterson won by acclamation on Tuesday afternoon after current warden Tony Guergis surprisingly declined a nomination to run again.
Patterson will be warden for one year.
Starting in 2011, wardens will serve for two years.
