Blue Mountain Resort is getting an international ski event next year.
The 2010 Freestyle FIS World Cup Ski Cross confirmed today Blue Mountian will be a stop next year — confirming what we told you weeks ago.
The event will be held at Blue Mountain in January, and it will be the last World Cup event before the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.
It’s also the first World Cup level event in southern Ontario.
The event has four skiers racing at the same time down a technically demanding course at up to 70 kilometres an hour.
