Its the hottest ticket in the region this weekend.
After almost three decades — Tanglefoot plays its final concert at the Roxy in Owen Sound today.
In fact, the ticket is so hot — they were all snapped up months ago for today’s matinee and evening performance.
Steve Ritchie says it hasn’t really sunk in yet that this is it, but he suspects once they play their final song tonight — it will.
The band with Owen Sound roots has garnered a international audience with big fans in the U-K, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, New York State and Virginia — all of whom have travelled great distances to be at today’s concerts.
Ritchie says life on the road has become harder over the years but he will miss the camaraderie of his band mates on those long treks around North America.
Ritchie isn’t sure what he’ll be doing next — but says various members of the band will continue to perform on their own.
