Bruce County’s next Warden will be chosen tomorrow morning.
There are two County Councillors who have declared their intentions to run for the Warden’s job — and it’s expected to be a close vote.
Saugeen Shores Mayor Mike Smith is running against Kincardine Mayor Larry Kraemer.
Kincardine, Brockton and South Bruce Peninsula haven’t had a warden since amalgamation in 1998.
It’s still possible that further candidates could be nominated.
The new Warden will be elected at the beginning of tomorrow’s County Council meeting in Walkerton.
