The deadline has been extended to file claims for tornado damage.
The original deadline was last Friday but now — all claim forms must be submitted by 4 PM Wednesday.
The Grey County Tornado Disaster Relief Committee says members are dealing with a high number of calls for assistance.
So they extended the deadline to answer everyone’s questions so the application forms can be completed correctly.
The claim forms can be submitted at the municipal offices in Grey Highlands, West Grey or the Blue Mountains or at the Olde Firehall in Markdale.
The committee administers the funds raised by the community and they will be matched up to two to one by the province.
