A different school day at Hepworth Central Public School.
Bruce Peninsula OPP responded to call around 11:30 AM Monday after a parent was locked out of the school building.
According to police the man was upset with his child and was escorting the youth from the building.
The boy ran back into the school, followed by his father and then held the child inside the building.
School staff moved in and asked the man to leave the school.
When outside the school was locked down and police were called.
Bruce Peninsula OPP arrested a South Bruce Peninsula man a short time later at his residence.
The unidentified accused, charged with assault, will be in Owen Sound court for a bail hearing.
