Santa and his wife have a date in Owen Sound this weekend.
The Festival in the Park – Santa and Mrs Claus visit Harrison park happens today.
The event starts at 11 AM and runs until 4 PM with admission through donation at the park.
Special Events Facilitator for the city Doug Cleverley says the event has a lot of great activities for the the entire family.
Cleverley says some of the events include Mrs Claus in the kitchen decorating cookies, there will be face painting and crafts as well.
Santa will be in a cabin to welcome visitors.
Then there will be carnival games for the kids as well as free hot chocolate and hot dogs.
Cleverley says their will also be toasted bannock by the fire.
Cleverley reminds you if you can to donate and unwrapped toy to the Owen Sound Firefighters toy drive that will be there.
There is also a parking shuttle from the Owen Sound Visitor Information Centre to Harrison Park running 11 AM until 4 PM.
