Hanovers new Regional Recreation Complex is really beginning to take shape.
The construction on the outer shell of the facility is wrapping up and work on the roof will soon get underway.
Councilor and Project Manager Bob White says its very exciting to see the progress.
He says despite some poor weather earlier this Fall, the project remains on schedule.
He says Novembers warmer than usual temperatures offset Octobers lousy wet weather allowing workers to make up for lost time.
White says the Building Committee recently toured the facility and came away very impressed.
He says the new Regional Recreation Complex is going to be something Hanover will be able to take great pride in.
White says the project is really coming to life and should be complete by August of 2010.
The 8.8 million dollar project will include an NHL sized ice surface, an indoor walking track and an auditorium.
It will replace Hanovers old and now demolished arena that served the town for almost half a century.
