Santa Claus not the only dignitary in Owen Sound today.
The Lieutenant Governor of Ontario will also be in the Scenic City.
David Onley will be helping turn the sod in the official start of construction on the 33 million dollar regional recreation complex.
The ceremony is being held at Victoria Park at 3:15 PM and is open to the public.
He’ll also be attending the Attack game in the evening at the Bayshore Community Centre.
Onley will be dropping the puck at centre ice at 7:30 PM in a pre-game ceremony.
