A 58 year old woman escaped serious injury after being hit by a car in Owen Sound.
It happened at the corner of 14th Street and 4th Avenue West around 7 o’clock Thursday morning.
The Owen Sound woman was taken to hospital with a fractured left shoulder.
Police say the 55 year old Owen Sound area man who was driving the car failed to see the woman in the overcast and wet morning.
He was charged with failing to yield the right of way.
