South Bruce OPP didn’t have far to go to investigate this single vehicle crash.
Police say a Ford Ranger struck a tree at the south end of the South Bruce OPP Walkerton detachment on Tuesday.
However, the vehicle continued across the driveway and came to rest on the front lawn of the detachment between the front steps and the flag pole.
Detachment members attended the scene and realized the male driver was in medical distress.
OPP Constable Derrick Frook, Provincial Constable Greg Clark and Sergeant Ken Kaufman performed CPR until Emergency Medical Services arrived.
The driver was taken to the London Health Sciences Center by Air Ambulance.
This incident remains under investigation.
