Five men from Georgian Bluffs have been charged with over 40 offences in connection with a series of break-ins that date back over the last year.
The Grey County OPP Crime Unit allege the crimes started last fall and continued until this month.
Officers have recovered numerous stolen items totalling over 16 thousand dollars — including a boat, several tires, snow vehicles, mini bikes and tools.
Police have linked the property recovered to a number of break-ins from storage units and thefts from car dealerships in the Springmount area.
The charges also relate to the theft of scrap metals that were not recovered.
Police say the crimes started last fall and continued until this month.
Five men — three 18 year olds, a 19 year old man and a 28 year old man — face a long list of charges including break, enter and theft, and possession of stolen goods.
Investigators are having a tough time finding owners for some of the recovered goods and would like to hear from people.
