A new kind of travelling exhibit is making its way across the region.
The South Bruce Grey Health Centre has teamed up with the Huron Perth Provider’s Council to run the Health Kicks program.
It focuses on developing health care careers in rural Ontario.
Brenda Rantz is the Vice President of Corporate Development for the South Bruce Grey Health Centre.
She says they’ve developed a Skills Opportunities project that focuses on health care careers.
Rantz says a mobile exhibit will travel around the region showcasing what careers in health are available and how people can get training for them.
Rantz says they’re targeting youth, individuals looking for a second career and laid-off people who are eligible to go back to school for two years.
