Grey County OPP are investigating a break-in on the Sunset Strip just outside Owen Sound.
A thief or thieves broke into the Quick Lube and stolen a two foot by two foot safe.
Constable Steve Starr says the safe was taken out of the front of the business, and because of it’s size and weight there was likely more than one culprit involved.
As well, because the safe is heavy, a vehicle was likely involved in taking it away.
An alarm was set off about 5:30 AM Sunday, but no one was there when police arrived on the scene.
Constable Starr says there was a substantial amont of money in the safe.
The OPP want to talk with anyone who saw anything suspicious around Quick Lube on the Sunset Strip around 5:30 AM.
