Black bear sightings are being reported in Kincardine.
South Bruce OPP say they received two calls on Friday.
One sighting was along Goderich Street, the other along Princes Street in the area of Tim Horton’s.
Police say if you see a bear, contact the Ministry of Natural Resources’ Bear Reporting Hotline at 1-866-514-2327.
And if it’s an immediate emergency – call your local police or dial 911.
Police say bears are attracted to residential garbage, bird feeders, and fruit trees.
You’re advised to keep your property clean, be extra careful storing and disposing of garbage, and feed birds only during the winter.
