It looks like the town of Collingwood won’t move a Georgian College Campus and performing arts centre into the old Cinema 4 building after all.
The deal between the town and Stinson Theatres is dead.
The Mayor says the town asked for and got an extension for the deal, then allowed the original offer to expire before making a new offer.
But that offer was rejected and the property is again up for sale.
Chris Carrier tells us, Georgian College remains interested in a permanent location in Collingwood, and is looking now at other sites.
