Anger management issues may be in this accused’s future after a Saugeen Shores police officer stopped a man for questioning.
According to police the accused was riding a bicycle on Bruce Street on Saturday when an officer recognized the person as someone he had to talk to about an earlier complaint.
The biker rode his bike into the side of the cruiser and when the officer got out of his vehicle the bike was tossed at him.
The officer still attempted to talk to the man, when the cyclist allegedly hauled off and punch the policeman in the face.
A 49 year old Port Elgin man faces various assault charges, along with mischief to property and breach of probation.
Police officer was not hurt but the police cruiser was dented and scratched.
