Grey County OPP have investigated numerous incidents of road rage in the past — but this is their first ‘lettuce rage’ complaint.
The incident was called in on Saturday during the busy lunch time period at a Markdale restaurant.
A man reportedly ordered three burgers to go and told the cashier he didn’t want any lettuce or tomato on one of them.
When staff got it wrong — the man flew into a rage and threw the burger across the restaurant and slammed the door so hard on the way out, he broke the 5 foot glass pane.
Police haven’t nabbed the young man with anger management issues but he’s described as being about 18 to 20, 5 foot 9 inches tall.
