The Ministry of Health has approved a new medical clinic to be built next to the hospital in Walkerton.
Mayor Charlie Bagnato says a ground breaking ceremony for the Brockton Family Health Team’s new home will take place on November 13th.
Bagnato says they’re really looking forward to the start of the project — especially after years of waiting.
Fundraising for the new clinic is almost complete too.
Bagnato says there’s still a little bit of money to raise in order to reach the two-million dollar goal for the project.
He wants to leave the delays behind them and move forward so the community will have a beautiful new medical clinic.
