The search for a missing woman on the Bruce Peninsula has ended tragically, with the discovery of her body.
67 year old Martha McCulloch of Allenford was scheduled for an appointment in Wiarton on Tuesday at Noon — but she never showed up.
Her car was found Tuesday evening on Bruce Road 8 near Allenford Road.
Following an extensive search by the OPP on Wednesday — the victims’ body was found around 3:30 PM Wednesday just off Bruce Road 8 between Sauble Beach and Hepworth in Bruce County.
The cause of her disappearance and her death is still under investigation.
The OPP would like to speak with anyone who may have observed McCulloch and/or her vehicle on Tuesday.
