More and more Grey Bruce residents have received the H1N1 shot — despite the fact the health unit has received only a fraction of the doses it has ordered.
The Medical Officer of Health told Kincardine Mayor Larry Kraemer that NO one in Grey Bruce has died from the H1N1 virus.
But two children and one adult with the virus remain in hospital.
The Kincardine Medical Clinic has received twelve hundred doses of the vaccine.
Kraemer says the more startling fact is the Grey Bruce Health Unit has ordered 70 thousand H1N1 vaccine doses — but has only received 25 thousand.
Doctor Lynn reports they are receiving nine thousand doses at a time.
The next H1N1 flu clinic is today from 4 PM to 8 PM at Grey Highlands Secondary in Flesherton.
There is also an H1N1 clinic at the health unit office in Owen Sound from 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday
The first H1N1 clinic in Kincardine will be held November 30th at the Davidson Centre.
