Some water customers in Kincardine will be without service for a while today.
The water will be off between 8:30 AM until 4 PM in the area between Lake Huron Highlands and Birchwood Avenue, heading north to Inverhuron Park.
The reason for the temporary shutdown is that crews are moving a fire hydrant.
Once the water is back on, a boil water notice will be in effect until water samples come back clear.
An estimated 400 properties are affected by the water work.
