Grey Roots Museum has a spooky way for you to spend your devil’s night.
The Museum near Owen Sound is hosting their 6th annual Ride of the Headless Horseman event today.
Spokesperson Petal Furness says this year is a little different than the past events.
They have separated the evening into an event for kids – and one for adults.
The children’s event starts at 6:30 PM with a viewing of the Walt Disney’s classic – the legend of sleepy Hollow — followed by treats by the bonfire and games.
All kids go home with a treat bag and the event wraps up .
Then at 8 PM — the spooky adult event starts.
Furness says there are a great group of actors from the Grey Bruce Arts Collective who will be doing an interactive play.
The adults will then be watching the Tim Burton Thriller Sleepy Hollow.
All the events are happening inside the Barn at the Moreston Heritage Village on the museum property.
Tickets are 5-dollars for a child — and 10-dollars for an adult.
They can be purchased in person at the Grey Roots Front desk or by calling the museum at 519-376-3690.
Furness says with Halloween on the brain, she has not seen any ghosts on the property.
