Grey County OPP are looking for a vehicle that endangered children walking home from school in Markdale.
Police say the vehicle was heading south on Toronto Street near George Street Friday afternoon between 3:30 PM and 4 PM when it left the road, drove over the sidewalk and onto two front lawns.
It also hit a utility pole and knocked over a fire hydrant before veering back onto the road and continuing south.
Police believe it was some kind of truck — either a Ford F150 or a Ford Bronco that would have sustained considerable damage.
Given the time of day — investigators are hopeful someone saw the incident and will be able to provide information.
