A 42 year old man is facing extradition proceedings after being arrested in Saugeen Shores.
Saugeen Shores police were assisting the RCMP in Kitchener/Waterloo in locating Francisco Beltran.
Beltran, who was indicted last December on three counts of wire fraud in Texas, was known to Saugeen Shores police.
He was arrested this past Wednesday and is incarcerated in Kitchener.
Beltran will be held in custody to face a hearing under the Extradition Act.
RCMP could not say if the accused is planning to appeal any extradition to the United States.
