Its time for the great annual library book sale at the Owen Sound Library.
Information Services Librarian for the Owens Sound Library Margaret Hodgins says this is the big event of the year.
Hodgins says the event runs until Sunday November 1st.
She says they have received so many donations – they decided to extend the sale.
Hodgins says the sale is not just paperbacks – but beautiful coffee tables books, dvd’s, records, magazines, dvd’s and toys.
They even have a rare book or two mixed in she adds.
Hodgins says it is a major fundraiser for the library with proceeds going towards such projects as the newly revitalized children and youth services department.
She says the sale is well organized by category and is restocked daily – so there is something new every day.
Hodgins says one of the most popular days is the last day where customers can fill a bag for a buck.
The Sale happens at the auditorium of the Owen Sound and North Grey Public Library at 824 First Ave West in Owen Sound.
The sale runs weekdays from 9 AM until 9 PM, Saturday from 9 AM until 5 PM and Sundays from 2 PM until 5 PM.
