A heads up for Hydro One customers in the Kincardine area – hydro will be out this weekend.
There is a planned power outage in the Kincardine area from 8 AM til 2 PM today and tomorrow.
About five thousand customers in parts of Huron and Ashfield townships, and the lower part of Kincardine Township will be affected and should have been notified.
The Town of Kincardine itself is NOT affected.
Work includes the installation of more than fifty new poles, moving about 50 other poles on Highway 21 and replacing 11 kilometres of older conductor with new, stronger, wire less susceptible to weather damage.
About 140 Hydro One lines and support staff will be involved in this project to minimize the outage duration.
